The Concept of the 'SMILE' mascots involve creating comical characters which convey a feeling of fluidity to portray the nature of a toothpaste, it also involves creating characters that convey a feeling of fun in order to depict the primary theme of SMILE which is to have an efficient product encouraging beatiful smiles. These characters have limbs which terminate with toothbrush-like hands. (c) 2004

Cartoons are an interesting form of expression which transcend language, racial, ethnic, as well as gender barriers. It has the unique ability to graphically narrate even a serious story, topic or situation with a sense of humour and often times without bitterness.
